How Speaking Your Truth Helps You Manifest

One of the common issues I help clients with is freeing themselves to speak their truth so they can manifest a deeper truer form of security that is more aligned with their soul.

When clients have this issue and I look at their energy fields, I often see a mass of dark blue in their lower pelvic area aka their 1st chakra. (Dark blue is inhibiting authority energy and the 1st chakra is our security center.)

Why Speaking Your Truth is Essential to Manifesting

For us to manifest those things that are most in alignment with who we are on a soul level, we need to express our true selves and speak our truth. When we do this, we allow our life force to flow out, express itself in the world and so be supported in being our true selves.

But for many of us speaking our truth does not come easy. We fear being judged, “rocking the boat”, and/or not being understood or accepted for what might be our divergent views.

We may have received messages early on in childhood that we need to be like other people, we need to “fit in”, and we need to conform. Not doing so risks rejection by the “tribe.”

Leaders Boldly Speak Their Truth

The paradox is people with the boldest and most divergent views tend to be society’s leaders. These people start movements. They pave the way for new ideas and thinking that expand the idea of what is possible. They make history by seeing a deeper truth that they intuitively know needs to be shared with the world.

This boldness takes courage and personal growth. It requires moving beyond the cultural programming that told us who and what we needed to say and do to be safe and acceptable by society at large.

Our subconscious inner child remembers that as children, we could never challenge our parents’ wisdom or perspectives. Their superior knowledge and experience were what kept us safe. We might think, who are we to challenge other people’s views or perspectives? Is it really okay to do this?

It is not just okay, it is essential. Speaking our truth and expressing our true self is absolutely necessary if we are to live a self-expressed authentic fulfilling life. One that connects us to those people who most relate to us and will support us on a soul level.

Questions to Ask Yourself

Here are some questions to ask yourself next time you want to speak your truth more effectively:

1) What is the truth I need to express? What do I need to share with others?

2) Why is this important and necessary to me, my path, and my goals?

3) Are there inner voices that are telling me it’s not okay to speak my truth? Whose are they? Are they relevant to who I am and what I am here to share? Can I let them go?

4) What is the core truth that I need to communicate?

5) How can I refine my communication so it is as effective and powerful as I want it to be?

Speaking our truth can sometimes take courage and make us feel vulnerable, but it has invaluable rewards. You never know how sharing your truth can positively change your own and others’ lives–until you share it.
