How to Trust Your Intuition and Unlock Your Creative Flow

Do you trust your intuition? Does it support you on your path, or does it feel elusive?

One of the common issues I help clients with is accessing their “big picture” higher guidance so they are inspired and energized to take those aligned actions that manifest their soul’s desires in the world.
 
When clients have this issue and I look at their energy fields,  I commonly see a patch of dark orange at the crown of their head, AKA their crown or 7th chakra.  (Dark orange is blocked desire and the crown chakra is our higher guidance center.)

For us to be able to move toward our heart’s desires, we need to see the “big picture” of what is most needed and important. For instance, if we are wanting to grow our business, we need to be able to tune into what is most important in getting our brand message out, how and where to share it, and what other ways will connect us with our soul tribe clients. We need to feel good, empowered, and energized around accessing our intuitive wisdom so we have the passion and motivation to follow it.

The key here is feeling good about trusting our higher wisdom so it’s enjoyable to have it guide us on our path to creating our most fulfilling life.

Unfortunately, not all of us have been taught to feel good about trusting and following our higher guidance.  Many of us have received messages that the only way to “be smart” and take constructive action is through following what we are told to do or what we have been taught by others.

If we have received these messages, trusting our own inner wisdom can feel undesirable. We might struggle with self-trust, and not allow ourselves to trust those inner instincts that can be ground-breaking and valuable.

For example, if we are wanting to grow our business one of the things we need to do is create a strong brand.  This means showing your uniqueness and bringing something new and innovative to the table. The only way to do that is to go with the flow of those intuitive impulses that get us thinking “out of the box.”

Then our unique positioning makes us stand out from the crowd. We are not just another “me too.” We get the attention of and attract those people–our tribe– who most appreciate and value what we have to offer.

This applies to other areas of your life as well. Whenever you know you need a change and decide to take an intuitive leap to move in a different direction you are accessing this energy.  The key is letting it feel good and exciting to move with your inner wisdom. Not resist it, not doubt it, not judge it–just go with the flow. It can become second nature if you give it a chance and see how well it can work for you.  

If you feel fear or resistance around this, you may want to do some energy work to release the block that’s making you resist your own creative flow. As with a lot of things, the key is getting your emotional mind on board with being open to and following your higher guidance.
