Do you let your desires help you manifest? One of the common issues I help…
One of the common issues I help clients with is removing subconscious judgment around their deepest desires so they have the clarity and motivation to manifest their most fulfilling life.
When clients have this issue and I look at their energy fields, I often see a mass of white in their lower abdominal area, aka their 2nd chakra. (White is the inner critic and the 2nd chakra is our values, desires, and priorities center.)
Honor and Be True to Your Values
For us to manifest our most fulfilling life we need to honor and be true to our values and the deepest and truest desires of our souls. When the inner compass that comes from our soul’s inner feelings drives us, we are guided to take those aligned actions that lead us on our path and fulfill our purpose. Anything less can shortchange who we are and what we are here to do.
For us to do this, we need to fully embrace our true desires as good, both for us and the world. We need to know without a doubt that our desire is virtuous. Otherwise, we are blocked by conflict when we attempt to take actions that manifest it.
Old Messages Can Create Inner Conflict
For example, if we received messages that it is better to give than receive, our feelings about charging adequately for our services become conflicted. I see this often with healers. Their inner critic is judging them for wanting their clients to pay them money so they lack the desire to charge adequately.
Sometimes we feel conflicted about promoting ourselves. Our inner critic tells us that it is “showing off” or making us “too big for our britches.” So we lack the desire to promote ourselves. As a result, our business and/or career suffer.
In my case, on a deep subconscious level, I felt it was not ok to stand out and shine. I felt conflicted about wanting to shine my light. I didn’t realize it for many years, but this caused me to “play it safe” and hide under my weight. So I self-soothed with food to try to escape from my inner conflicted feelings. This ongoing pattern kept on the pounds that helped me hide my light from the world.
An “Aha” Moment
It was a huge “aha” moment when I realized that it is my own dysfunctional inner critic that cut off my desire to lose weight. Once I got a hold of that programming and released it, I was emotionally free. I finally had the desire and commitment to take those actions that allowed me to lose my excess pounds.

An Energy Exercise to Help You Manifest
Here is an exercise to help you release your inner judgment around your desires so you are motivated and inspired to take those actions to create them.
1) Think of a goal that you have not yet manifested.
One that seems too difficult to achieve or that you do not have enough motivation to even begin taking action towards.
2) Tune into your body sensations.
Imagine taking actions that manifest this goal in your life. Tune into any uncomfortable feelings you may have around this. Feelings will aid you to identify where your energy is flowing and where it is blocked. What do the feelings feel like as physical sensation? Where are they located in your body? Do they feel like tension, constriction, pressure, heaviness, or something else? Allow the feelings to be there in your body without resisting them or attempting to override them with your mind.
3) Now imagine a window or door opening where the feelings reside.
For example, you can imagine a window opening in your chest, or a door opening in the area of your stomach.
4) Ask yourself, “Can I let this go?”
Allow the energy to leave your body through the window or door you created. Breathing deeply during this process may help you release the blocked energy. Continue doing this for as long as it you feel the energy release. This can take a bit of practice but you will probably feel a subtle sensation of relief as the energy block leaves your body.
5) Now think again about taking action towards your goal.
How do you feel about it now? Notice what comes into your awareness.
6) Think of one action you can take right now to begin to manifest your goal.
Then go ahead and take it.
